Shannon Miller, President and Founder of Mainspring Energy, leads the company’s operational development and commercial sales of its flagship Mainspring Linear Generator. Mainspring began customer deployments of its fuel-flexible, local power generators in 2020 and today has hundreds of megawatts in advanced development and field operations for leading Fortune 500 companies, data centers, and utilities across the U.S. A former National Science Foundation Fellow, Shannon was awarded the U.S. Department of Energy C3E Award 2022 in the Entrepreneurship category and named Energy Central “Champion in Innovation” in 2023 in recognition for her energy industry leadership. She holds B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from Stanford University.
