John Di Donato has over 25 years of experience in renewable energy development and origination. He retired as the National Vice President of Renewable Origination and Development for NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, having previously led the exponential growth of their wind development business from 2012 through 2017. He and his teams are responsible for over $30 Billion of renewable projects in the United States and Canada. John has served on the boards of the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) and Rocky Mountain Electric League (RMEL), and is a current member of the board of directors of LandGate Corporation. He has also served as an advisory board member for Texas Christian University’s Ralph Lowe Energy Institute and is currently a member of multiple not-for-profit boards focused on youth development and education.
