Alexander Weiss is CEO, Co-Founder, a Managing Partner, and a member of the Investment Committee of ClearSky. Before founding ClearSky, Mr. Weiss was Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for NextEra Energy, where he co-headed the company’s venture capital investment effort. Prior to NextEra Energy, Mr. Weiss was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley and a Managing Director at Smith Barney and Paine Webber. Mr. Weiss currently serves as a member of the board of directors of Altamira, Authentic8, ClimateTrade, Diamanti, EdgeQ, Fortress Information Security, Guardz, Mainspring Energy, Mitiga Security, and Ubicquia. Mr. Weiss was also formerly a member of the board of directors of BHI Energy, CloudGenix, CyberGRX, Cylance, iControl, NEXTracker, Pike Group, RedOwl, Skout Cybersecurity, Sentient Energy, Spruce Finance, Systems Control, T-Rex, and Verengo.
